Villa Sträuli

Villa Sträuli is a gently renovated, Neo-Baroque villa located just five minutes from Winterthur train station and the Old Town.

It is a quintessential artist's villa: here, artistic creation, local culture, and gastronomy are combined and lived in an ideal way. For many people in Winterthur, Villa Sträuli is an integral part of the local cultural scene, especially the Saturday matinée that attracts many music lovers each Saturday at 11 a.m. for a short concert. On the upper floors, three studios are available for artists from around the world. Through the bistro, the beautiful villa and the cozy garden are open for lunch guests during the week.

If you are planning your event at Villa Sträuli, you will always have complete privacy. The entire ground floor and the park-like 600 m2 large garden can be rented and offer a perfect setting for celebrations and parties of up to 70 people, as well as seminars, company meals, and workshops in an elegant, relaxed atmosphere. In addition to the stylish ambiance, we offer professional service, modern technical equipment — and last but not least — a beautifully maintained, regularly tuned grand piano. For catering, we generally work with a selection of suitable providers. We recommend a brief consultation regarding usage, as many arrangements are possible at Villa Sträuli.

Please note that Villa Sträuli is closed on Sundays out of respect for the house residents, neighbors, and staff.
