Parterre One Music is built on over 30 years of event history in the concert and small theater sector. Since the early days in the 1980s, under the name "Kaffi Schlappe," the concert space has continuously evolved until it was completely renovated in 2016 and reopened on November 11, 2016. A restaurant, a bar, and the concert space are arranged around the central courtyard and offer a meeting point for Basel's music scene in the historic building. The concerts are diverse, covering singer-songwriters, electro, world, indie folk, pop, jazz, up to classical music. Readings and comedy are also part of the program. It is our goal to provide a platform for the local music scene and to enrich the Triregio cultural space in Basel with renowned musicians from around the world. Since the reopening, many parties in the reggae, electro, old school, and hip-hop genres have been adding to our event calendar.
