Complete your visit to the Kyburg with a picnic or, as the lady landgravine would have said: Z’Imbiss. You can rent the castle courtyard, or in bad weather, the dining room, for a group of up to 50 people. We will provide tables, filled picnic baskets, and drinks for your 'Z’Imbiss' (snack). (including cups, glasses, bread board with bread knife) Your guests serve themselves as they would at a private picnic, quite casually, directly from their hands. The Z’Imbiss basket is filled with regional and seasonal specialties. Civil Wedding The civil registry office Illnau-Effretikon offers several dates for civil weddings during the summer months in the former judge's room at Castle Kyburg.
