Throughout more than a century, the Scuol Palace attracted crowned heads from all over Europe and beyond, as well as wealthy ladies and gentlemen of high society. Renowned writers and artists such as Robert Musil, Kurt Tucholsky, and Paul Klee found inspiration and relaxation here. As the first Grand Hotel of the Engadine, the Kurhaus Tarasp significantly shaped the region's exclusive tourism and served as a model for many prominent hotels, including the Waldhaus Vulpera, the Schweizerhof Vulpera, and the Waldhaus Sils.
After a turbulent history, the Scuol Palace was reopened on December 26, 2023, as a Spa and Cultural House. It continues its glorious past and combines tradition with new vitality – a unique place for special occasions, cultural encounters, and unforgettable experiences.
