He was young, creative, loved adventure, and enjoyed playing with fire. Hans (Jack) Boss from the Oberland tried his luck like many other Swiss in America. As a young mechanic, he found his first job in Manhattan at a Studebaker & Packard garage. This is where our story begins with the Garage Dinner. Hungry and without money for a restaurant visit, he invents a device in his workshop that allows you to prepare a hot meal, a true Garage Dinner.
At the Garage Dinner, we pamper you and your guests with a rich
buffet of meat and vegetable specialties as well as delicious side dishes. You create
your own gourmet skewer and prepare it yourself at our Garage Dinner grill.
Garage Dinner Classic: all dishes (appetizer, meat buffet, ice cream buffet) at discretion (excluding drinks), including room rental, staff costs for 6 hours,
