Since 2010, we have regularly hosted public Powerpoint Karaoke events in Bern. And for almost as long, we have been happy to be guest favorites at parties and team events of all kinds with our show. All we need are a projector or large screen and an eager audience. After a brief and humorous introduction on the topic "Confident Presence in Total Ignorance" we get started:
The bravest guests take on the challenge to present a set of slides brought along by us on an exotic topic and pretend to be THE expert or THE expert. We support, encourage, and ensure top entertainment!
Possible procedure
- The host or hostess arrives about half an hour before the event at the venue and connects their laptop to the projector or large screen.
- At the start of the show, there is an introduction to the topic "Confident Appearance". This part can be shortened and customized according to wishes.
- Then brave guests take to the stage and present one of the over a hundred available slides for the amusement of the other guests.
- Optionally, the event can be structured as a playful competition. The winner will receive a fun prize.
Good to know
Good to know 1: The event always works: whether 10 or 150 people, whether lively teenagers or senior citizens, whether leadership, professional, or auxiliary staff - all it takes is a bit of courage. Our hosts know how to tailor the event to the audience.
Good to know 2: The show can be very well held during an aperitif or during the breaks between the starter, main course, and dessert.
Good to know 3: As communication professionals, we can also conduct the event as a crash course in presentation skills, depending on the client. In a relaxed manner, we provide inspiration and entertainment at the same time. Participants practice speaking in front of an audience and can showcase their newly acquired skills in a humorous setting.
