The old walls of our inn could tell many stories if they could speak: about knights and nobles who used to stop by the tavern for a drink, about dance festivals, weddings, and family celebrations.
The Hirschen, now in its 6th generation and owned by the Schneider family, was acquired in 1753 by the Schneider family, passed down from generation to generation, and each generation has added and remodeled it a bit more. Over time, the Hirschen has developed into a modern restaurant.
Old original stone walls indicate that where the barn once was, today weddings are celebrated and various events take place. Even in places where pigs once wallowed in straw 20 years ago, there is now a modern elevator leading to the first and second floors with hotel rooms that were built according to the strict regulations of historical preservation.
