This year everything is new: For the first time, the big Christmas market takes place in the historic Old Town of Aarau. A Christmas market that is not like all the others. A Christmas market for creatives, makers, and connoisseurs. With over 60 stalls, a dedicated Street Food Festival, a workshop studio, a bakery, and numerous events, Aarau will become a winter wonderland for DIY enthusiasts for 5 weeks.
The Christmas market will be held from November 17 to December 23, 2022.
Opening hours for market stalls & workshops:
Mon to Wed: 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM / Thu to Sat: 11:30 AM to 10:00 PM / Sun: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Opening hours for gastronomy stalls:
Mon to Thu: 11:30 AM to 10:00 PM / Fri & Sat: 11:30 AM to 12:00 AM / Sun: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Implementation in the Aarau Old Town:
From Schlossplatz through Kasinopark, the Market Hall, as well as the Färberhölfli to Kirchpatz with the alley. And starting in 2023, even at Maienzugplatz.
