The municipality of Muri took over the Bauernhaus from the Burgergemeinde Bern in 1979 and gently renovated it. The house has since shone in new splendor. The old Tafel gives the rooms a cozy atmosphere. In the now used as a hall building attic, the beam construction is clearly visible.
In 2001, the space offer was expanded with the development of the Burestube and a corresponding kitchen. The rooms in the house can be rented individually or combined for larger occasions.
