With us, the party has been live for over 30 years - with groove, soul, rock. In our culturally connecting pieces, we recycle traditional folk music from Southeast Europe, from the Klezmer tradition, and also pieces of the Roma. Our melodies originate from: Serbia, Bosnia, Croatia, Albania, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Romania, Moldova, Greece, Turkey, Ukraine, Poland, Georgia... We sing self-written lyrics in English, often in multiple voices. Balkan Express is versatile: for unplugged or fully amplified aperitifs, as table music so loud that you can still talk to each other, or with power as dance music. Our strength is to get young and old moving. A festivity with joyful dancing is simply unforgettable!
