The living room for multiple Basel generations

For generations, the -tis has been the most famous music venue in Switzerland. Crazy stories surround Atlantis. One filled with stars from the international and local music scene: For example, Black Sabbath made the -tis shake and even earlier, pianists Joe Turner and Don Gais. At -tis, the Lazy Poker Blues Band from Basel was a kind of house band. But Rumpelstilz and Les Sauterelles also performed here. TV star Heidi Abel hosted her live broadcasts here, which extended the venue's influence far beyond the region. Since 1947 at its current location Klosterberg 13, the -tis has been the living room for several Basel generations with its wild and sometimes unconventional concept.
