The request panel at a glance

At the top you see event type, requester and whether it is your turn. “Enquiry” and “History” separate content from activity. The status tracks New, Answered, Quote and Commissioned. Event details, selected offer, listing and contact information appear on the right.

Reply in EventButler chat

Scroll to the message field, write your reply and attach files if needed. The message appears in the shared thread and the requester is notified. A provider reply to a new or read enquiry automatically changes the status to Answered. Use chat when the conversation should remain centrally documented.

Reply from your email application

The “Via email” button sends the complete enquiry again to the provider address stored for the listing. It does not answer the customer yet. Open the received email and choose Reply; its reply address points directly to the requester.

Important: An external reply is not copied into EventButler chat. Afterwards, manually set the status to Answered in the panel.

Refer to date, guest count and requirements. Confirm availability, explain inclusions and pricing, and suggest a concrete next step. Ask a few focused questions if information is missing.
