Who hasn’t dreamed of sleeping in an igloo like the Inuits once did? Before the autumn and winter season kicks off, we’d like to introduce you to some exciting igloo villages and activities. Around the world, igloo stays and experiences are now offered — often accompanied by thrilling outdoor adventures. Events in igloo villages are perfect for both romantic getaways for two and larger group gatherings such as team or client events. The only requirement: guests shouldn’t be too sensitive to the cold. Although snow is a great insulator, temperatures inside typically range from 0 to 5°C — definitely on the cooler side. Thermal underwear, ski clothing, hats, gloves, and moon boots are essential. Some igloo villages also feature a hot tub — and with water temperatures between 35 and 40 degrees Celsius, it’s a great way to warm up. Of course, the exact offerings vary by location.
