With us, you combine your event with down-to-earth Lucerne gastronomy. We prepare Lucerne and Swiss dishes according to original traditional recipes and continue the traditional cuisine with contemporary preparation methods. For your shared festive meal, you will find a dedicated banquet menu. This way, the convivial gathering around Swiss specialities becomes the focal point of your visit.
Our inn is located in the small town of Lucerne directly on the Reuss. Since 1772, the Taube has been part of Swiss inn tradition here. In addition to the Nadelwehr-Sääli, the cosy parlours characterise our house. During the summer months, we also welcome you on our spacious terrace by the historic Reuss weir. Up to 120 people can be accommodated there and enjoy our specialities directly by the water.
If you would like to combine your stay with an overnight stay, the Self-Check-in Hotel Münzgasse is located on the upper floors. Enjoy a festive event with us featuring Swiss cuisine, historic interiors and the Reuss right at your doorstep.

Sehr feines Schnitzel – schön knusprig paniert, dazu goldige Pommes, Preiselbeeren und Zitrone. Die Portion ist grosszügig und macht gut satt. Für 31.50 CHF stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis absolut. Ein besonderes Lob an unseren Kellner Paulo: sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und einfach ein sympathischer Kerl. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
The food was excellent, but someone stole my umbrella!
The DK guide book had mentioned this restaurant so we went there for lunch last week. We were the first customers but others came soon afterwards. The food was good with very generous portions. The menu had English translation throughout which was very helpful. The service was quick and the staff were very polite and attentive.
Excelente experiência, o rosti e o pastry estavam muito bons e saborosos! Atendimento ainda melhor com a garçonete portuguesa Cristina! Recomendável reservar.
