Werdenberg Castle

Celebrate your birthday, Christmas party or corporate event in our bistro and castle courtyard. Outside regular opening hours, you can hire these areas for your event. For your wedding, we also offer the Landvogtstube as a ceremony room. Together we will discuss the room rental and combination with an aperitif to suit your gathering.

Combine your event with a guided tour of the castle, the historic town or the Schlangenhaus Museum. Afterwards, enjoy an aperitif in the historic castle atmosphere with your club, company or private group. From small and simple to large or special aperitifs, we arrange canapés and the perfect glass of wine. For catering, we work primarily with a regional partner; we are happy to advise you on the options.

In fine weather, the castle courtyard welcomes you with views over the Rhine plain. Indoor spaces are also available for the wedding aperitif. Civil ceremonies in the Landvogtstube are possible from April to the end of October. Please clarify your preferred date with us first and then have it confirmed by the responsible civil registry office. Museum operations continue during opening hours; the ceremony room is excluded during the ceremony.

Our castle combines medieval architectural traces with the history of a later bourgeois residence and its current use as a cultural castle. In the bistro, you can enjoy drinks, coffee, homemade cakes and snacks from regional production during the museum season. For year-round hire of your event, we will coordinate the details personally with you.
