About us

Your event and dance venue with the charm of the 1950s

At Viento Sur in Bern, we invite you to host your event in a space with a special history. Our event and dance venue is located in the former exhibition space of the Tobler chocolate factory. The 1950s interior shapes the atmosphere. Across 180 m², we provide the perfect setting for birthday celebrations, weddings, dance parties, training sessions and presentations.

With our lighting, you can choose between bright ambient lighting and colourful festive lighting. Our facilities include a bar, sound system, and tables, chairs and benches. We have a refrigerator, freezer and toilets available. For presentations, we offer you a projector and a screen measuring 2.5 × 3 metres; the use of these is charged in addition to the base rental fee.

You can rent the space from us or combine your event with our event and bar operations. If you wish, we can enhance your celebration with a tango show or a short crash course to get your guests moving. We also discuss culinary wishes with you. Together, we will clarify which services suit your event.

The base rental fee is CHF 650. This is in addition to cleaning and, depending on the event, further costs such as security services, overtime permits and the rental of glasses, crockery and cutlery. We are happy to discuss the desired schedule and the equipment needed for it with you.
