The Tonhalle St.Gallen wins hearts with its rich musical program and warm atmosphere. Regulars return for family concerts, New Year's performances, and choral events featuring hundreds of schoolchildren – each visit leaving a lasting impression. The acoustics are generally praised, and the Sunday brunch at the in-house restaurant draws its own loyal crowd. While some note the seating could be more comfortable and the interior shows its age, the quality of performances more than makes up for it. A beloved cultural gem in the heart of St.Gallen.
Schöne Tonhalle und eigentlich gute Akustik, jedoch hatte es direkt neben meinem Ohr ein Lautsprecher, der immer gerauscht hat. Daher 1 Punkt Abzug. Die Stühle sind eher unbequem, aber wenn man nicht grad einer 5h Aufführung beiwohnt, ist das ganz okay. Alles in Allem etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Darbietung der Philharmonie Leipzig hat 20 Sterne verdient :-)
Wir hatten einen reichhaltigen Frühstücksbrunch am Sonntag genossen. Sehr freundlicher und zuvorkommender Service in guter Atmosphäre.
Familienkonzerte in der Tonhalle immer ein Genuss. So auch "Peter und der Wolf", ein Musikmärchen von Prokofjews.
Ich genoss ein fantastisches Neujahrskonzert! Das war eines von div. die ich hier gehört und genossen habe.

The Grand Hall with 891 seats is equipped with fixed concert seating - banquets cannot be held here. Banquets can be held in the foyer on the ground floor and in the Intermezzo. The total capacity here is 200 people (10-person tables).
