State-of-the-art Design in an Elegant Atmosphere
The restaurant and terrace welcome up to 100 guests for an aperitif and up to 80 people at long tables, exclusively for your event if desired. For meetings of up to 12 people, the AQUA room is available, and the Fireplace Lounge and bar terrace accommodate 20 guests for an intimate aperitif.
Our head chef compiles menus from Mediterranean and seasonal ingredients, with many products sourced from Living Circle's own farms. Our event team organises your event with you, and administration is included. Technology such as screens and video conferencing is available, and parking spaces can be reserved.

Perched directly on the shores of Lake Zurich in Thalwil, Alex Lake Zürich consistently wins guests over with its unbeatable waterfront setting and warm, attentive staff. Reviewers rave about the stunning lake views from the terrace and floor-to-ceiling windows, the exceptional Mediterranean cuisine featuring fresh pasta, seafood, and seasonal creations, and a service team that genuinely goes the extra mile. Whether arriving by boat, train, or car, guests describe the atmosphere as intimate, polished, and refreshingly removed from city bustle.
While further from Zurich than I had initially hoped, I found myself loving that we were not in a busy city! There’s a train station about a 10 minute walk from the property (or a car service at the hotel if it’s available). ||The restaurant may be a little pricey, but our food was top notch and we savored every bite!! There’s also no beating the views you get from the floor-to-ceiling windows while you enjoy your meal. If we ever come back to the Zurich area, we would most definitely stay here again.

Absolutely amazing service and concierge arrangements. Could sit out on our balcony all morning long, enjoying the sites and sounds of the lake. We will be coming back. Food is out of this world and absolutely phenomenal.
Abbiamo scoperto l’Alex Bar quasi per caso durante una domenica a Zurigo. Soggiornavamo allo Storchen e, visto che molti posti erano chiusi, ci hanno consigliato di fare un giro in barca sul lago fino all’Alex Lake Zürich: già solo l’arrivo rende l’esperienza molto piacevole.|Siamo arrivati verso le 16:00 e, non essendo il ristorante disponibile a quell’ora, ci siamo accomodati al bar. Il servizio è stato abbastanza rapido: prima ci hanno sistemati al bancone e poco dopo ci hanno trovato posto a uno dei tavolini alti affacciati sul lago, che consiglio assolutamente per godersi al meglio la vista.|Per il nostro “aperibrunch” abbiamo ordinato un calice di Champagne, ostriche di buona qualità, bruschetta al pomodoro, beef tartare — personalmente non proprio nelle mie corde — e delle sfiziose patatine fritte al tartufo. Con acqua e caffè il conto ha superato i 200 €, una cifra importante ma, a mio avviso, abbastanza in linea con il tipo di esperienza, la location e il livello del posto.|Nel complesso tutto buono, anche se senza particolari picchi gastronomici. Il vero punto di forza è l’atmosfera: rilassata, elegante e con una splendida vista sul lago.|Ci tornerei volentieri, soprattutto arrivando di nuovo in barca.
