Site Alp

Celebrate your wedding aperitif, birthday, corporate event or confirmation with us at Site Alp. For your group, we combine personal catering with the special setting of our log cabin at 1,560 metres above Zweisimmen in the Sparenmoos area. Together with you, we tailor the food to your occasion.

Our front room accommodates around 70 people. In total, we can cater for approximately 130 guests. Our kitchen operates on a hearty, down-to-earth basis: we use our own farm products wherever possible and serve, for example, rösti with diced meat, raclette, ham with potato salad or cold platters for aperitifs. For groups, we are happy to arrange a shared menu with possible variations.

During the alpine season, you can also experience our cheese dairy with us. The milk from the alp and neighbouring farms is processed on-site into, amongst other things, Bernese alpine cheese, mutschli, raclette and yoghurt. Groups can combine meals and aperitifs with a guided tour. For an active conclusion during the alpine season, scooters can be hired for the descent into the valley.

In winter, we operate Site Alp as a casual inn for day visitors and groups. Winter walking trails, cross-country skiing routes and the sledge run lead right up to the hut. Please plan your event to suit the season: in summer, we do not cater for groups late into the night; in November, Site Alp remains closed even for groups.
