Your celebration with restaurant, gallery and garden on the Sihl
Our restaurant combines a warm atmosphere with a bar, fireplace and music via Sonos. At 111 m² you can adapt the table arrangement to your occasion. Access via the main entrance is wheelchair accessible. For smaller celebrations and workshops, our 72 m² gallery is at your disposal. Here, 20 to 24 people sit together at two large Tavolata tables. Please note that the gallery is not wheelchair accessible.
In the garden, you and your guests can enjoy the green surroundings directly by the river. The outdoor area accommodates up to 120 people and is equipped with tables and lighting. The table arrangement can also be adapted here. Up to ten people can order à la carte; from eleven people onwards, we prepare a menu for your group. For a barbecue buffet in the garden, we create an individual menu from 20 people onwards. We handle catering ourselves; external catering is not possible. This way you combine your shared meal with the historic setting and nature by the water.

After everyone in our party saw your Instagram ad on our respective feeds, clearly the algorithm worked, we decided to make the comfortable ride from Adliswil on the S4 to this wonderfully restored building along the Sihl. All in our party found the experience delightful with the atmosphere intimate, the staff attentive and accommodating, and the food exceptional. We enjoyed a lovely bottle of wine from a generous wine card, never feeling rushed and enjoying our meal in a relaxed unhurried manner. Two in our party selected the Wildschweinragout (wild boar ragu) and one the Brasato (braised meat) Ravioli – no one was disappointed, both dishes were satisfying, having unique and complex flavours, portioned properly, and were spot on for a late October evening. The meal ended with a desert that ranged for our party from a simple chocolate ice cream to an ice-coffee, and to my favourite, Simon's wonderful interpretation of the espresso martini. I will say with certainty we will return with family and friends to sample other surprises from the team at Sihlsteg.
Wir haben schon ein paar Mal im Restaurant Sihlsteg gegessen und waren immer sehr zufrieden. Ausgezeichnete Speisen mit gelungenen geschmacklichen Überraschungen . Sympathischer Service und angenehme Atmosphäre im Restaurant, alles zusammen sehr empfehlenswert.

I’m a long time client and just realized I never praised them here, so here it is! I was abroad traveling but I kept on missing the food from this restaurant, which I visit weekly or biweekly. That’s just how good they are. Amazing combination of flavors, and even their salads are incredible. Congratulations for all the efforts on making this restaurant so good in all senses - service, ambiance, food, all. In my view the best restaurant in Switzerland!
