Schloss Grüningen

Plan your seminar, wedding or festive dinner at Schloss Grüningen. For family celebrations, corporate dinners, christenings, confirmations and wedding receptions, we offer you stylish, individually furnished rooms in the heart of the historic Stedtli. The preserved original building structure and carefully renovated interiors provide a special setting for your event.

For seminars and conferences, we have various sized rooms on the second and third floors at your disposal. The Ratstube comprises 69 square metres and offers space for up to 22 people in banquet seating. The Oberamtstube, at 32 square metres, accommodates up to 14 people in the same seating arrangement. Smaller working groups will find an appropriate setting in the Lavater, Hagenauer, Gessler, Berger, Edlibach and Escher rooms. Foyer areas on both floors are included in the rental price.

For your aperitif or celebration, you can use our 78 square metre castle cellar on the ground floor. It offers space for up to 50 people at various guest tables. Our castle team prepares canapés, pastries and beverages for aperitifs. For more extensive catering, we recommend selected local catering partners who are familiar with our infrastructure. You may arrange your own caterer by prior agreement and for an additional rental fee. Self-catering is not permitted in the castle rooms except in the cellar.

You can rent our seminar rooms year-round between 7.30 and 24.00. During breaks, enjoy coffee and refreshments or take a stroll through the castle courtyard. Local restaurants are just a few minutes away for lunch. A visit to the museums or an excursion to the surrounding area can complement your shared day.
