Chüestall Riederalp

At approximately 2200 metres above sea level, we welcome you to the Chüestall above Riederalp. Our mountain restaurant is located in the hiking and skiing area of Aletsch Arena. Combine your visit with a hike or a day on the slopes and take time for a shared meal in the Valais mountain world.

Our indoor space accommodates 80 guests. In fine weather, our sun terrace with 150 seats invites you to linger. The outdoor area is complemented by our panorama lounge with 50 deckchairs. The seats in the restaurant, on the terrace and in the lounge are separate areas; depending on the weather and season, you can enjoy your meal with us indoors or outdoors.

Our kitchen offers you, amongst other things, Valais dried meat, rösti, Gommer Chouera and raclette. Children's dishes are also on our menu. For a shared fondue with family or friends, you can reserve one of our three fondue pots for 4 to 10 people. The fondue pot package includes traditional fondue and tomato fondue, a suitable dessert, mineral water and white wine.

You can reach us in summer via the Moosfluh cable car and then along the signposted hiking trail. In winter, the blue piste via Blausee leads to the restaurant. Since 2010, we have been serving guests in a building that was originally constructed as a barn, but never housed cows.
