How many people can be accommodated in the fondue parlour?

Our chalet offers space for up to 45 people and is suitable for family, club and company events.

When is the fondue parlour open?

From November to March, we welcome you to our cosy fondue parlour for convivial evenings enjoying cheese fondue.

Can we book the Gardist exclusively?

Yes. Our Gardist is exclusively available to you for up to 25 people, for example for a small general meeting, a farewell aperitif, a birthday celebration or a private Christmas party.

Are there parking options for guests?

In addition to public car parks, three angled spaces are available in the entrance next to the former level crossing. Further spaces along the house wall and in the courtyard can be used in the evening.

About us

Your celebration in the restaurant, fondue parlour or exclusive Gardist

For your wedding, birthday or company dinner, we hire out our venue and plan the culinary setting together with you. At Restaurant Moosmatt, we combine the personal atmosphere of a Lucerne neighbourhood restaurant with a well-maintained dining establishment. You celebrate beneath a stucco ceiling in warm tones and enjoy a shared meal in an authentic, romantic atmosphere.

Our kitchen offers you, amongst other things, Moosmatter Tatar and a classic Cordon bleu. Meat and fish dishes are also part of our offering. For your event, we discuss your culinary wishes with you and tailor the setting to suit your group.

From November to March, we supplement our offering with our cosy fondue parlour. In the rustic chalet, families, clubs and companies spend convivial evenings enjoying cheese fondue. Up to 45 people can be accommodated here. For small private events, our Gardist is also exclusively available to you for up to 25 people. Whether a small general meeting, a farewell aperitif, a birthday celebration or a private Christmas party: we plan this setting together with you.

You can reach us by bus line 4 via the Breitenlachen stop. Various parking options are available for those arriving by car; some spaces can only be used in the evening. Our hosts and team look forward to creating your event with you.
