Restaurant Moosalp

At 2048 metres above sea level, we welcome you to Restaurant Moosalp above Törbel. Since 1964, our family business has combined Valais hospitality with a cuisine that draws on local products and reinterprets familiar dishes in a fresh and modern way. Today, Amadé and his son Jeremy continue the story of our establishment.

For your shared meal, you can expect regional specialities and creative dishes. Our cuisine includes Hüüsminäschtra according to Mother Balbina's recipe, rösti and Valais raclette from the wood-fired oven. We also offer vegetarian dishes, meat and fish specialities as well as seasonal game dishes. We also have a special selection for our younger guests. Our Moosalp cream slice rounds off your visit on a sweet note.

Beyond the restaurant, our winter garden and south terrace offer different opportunities to enjoy the mountain landscape. The Mischabel Lounge is our special area for events with a view. In the Cantina Carmen, we combine wine culture with a distinctive ambience for tastings and private events. For groups of twelve or more, we adjust our opening hours by arrangement. Our establishment is a destination for culinary excursions in both summer and winter. You can reach us by car year-round via Törbel. In summer, the postbus service supplements access; in winter it runs via Törbel to the ski lift. From Bürchen, you can use the Alpenschnaager winter transfer service to the Moosalp during the winter season. Please take our seasonal opening times and rest day into account when planning your visit.
