Refuge de Solalex

For your group dinner and gathering in the mountains, we welcome you at Refuge de Solalex in a rustic, typically alpine setting. From eight people onwards, we will create a menu tailored to your wishes and tastes. You can choose dishes from our menu or work with us to create a bespoke menu for your occasion. Our kitchen combines regional specialities with convivial classics such as raclette cooked over a wood fire, fondue and mushroom pastries.

Inside our Refuge, up to 100 people can be seated at the same time. The two adjoining main rooms, the restaurant and the Carnotzet, each accommodate approximately 40 people; the sanitary facilities are directly accessible from both rooms. For larger groups, various areas are available: the former stable "Chez Madame Fauquex" adjoins the building and accommodates approximately 55 people. The renovated bergerie is located about 20 metres opposite and offers space for approximately 45 people. We are happy to discuss the most suitable area with you and your group.

For a smaller gathering, wine tasting or dinner, you can privatise our wine cellar for up to 20 people. A projector is available to you there. If you would like to extend your stay, we also offer overnight accommodation in a rustic room and in dormitories. The Refuge is located on Alp Solalex in the municipality of Bex. Please take into account the seasonal access when planning your visit: in winter, you can reach us on foot from Cergnement or by reservation with our paid snowmobile transfer service.
