A complete culinary experience
At Marina Lachen, things go round over the winter: We pamper you culinarily in six cosy «PrivatSphären». These are unique private dining areas in spherical form, which offer space for four to eight people to eat, drink and enjoy - completely undisturbed in a private atmosphere and with a magnificent view of Lake Zurich. Equipped with homely wood and a comfortable bench seating around a large, round table, the heated restaurants in miniature promise a pleasant ambience.
The «PrivatSphären» are available during the winter months - from 13.11.2026 to 31.1.2027 - at Lachen Harbour SZ.

Whether for a team meal, family gathering, dinner with friends, for an aperitif or even as a creative meeting and group room - the «PrivatSphären» are suitable for many occasions. In the cosy spheres, you spend relaxed hours in a closed group and enjoy the professional and warm service of Marina Lachen.
Culinary offering
Culinarily, the probably most popular winter dish takes centre stage: Fondue Chinoise à discretion. It is served as part of a 2-course menu with a fine starter. To begin, we recommend a suitable aperitif: from warming mulled wine with homemade grissini to fine champagne with tuna tartare and veal tartare. Desserts are ordered à la carte and provide the enjoyable conclusion to the dinner.

Sehr netter Kellner. Das war dann aber auch schon alles. Generell sind das eher teure Preise auf einer doch recht kleinen Speisekarte. Der Hit war allerdings, dass der arme Kellner uns informieren musste, dass wir uns eine Pizza zu viert nicht teilen dürfen (mit einer Bestellung von 2 Flaschen Wasser und 2 gemischten Salaten noch dazu). Hier ist es anscheinend so, dass wenn man sich eine Pizza teilen möchte, man das nur gegen einen Aufpreis von neun CHF machen darf - man solle doch lieber eine 2. Pizza dazu bestellen. Und das obwohl noch mehr auf der Bestellung stand!! Man wird hier also quasi dazu gezwungen, so viel wie möglich zu konsumieren. Eine Frechheit.

The «PrivatSphären» are at Lachen Harbour from 14 November 2025 to 1 February 2026. Dinner is served daily from 18:00 to 24:00 (kitchen until 22:00). Lunch is served on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as on 24/25/26 December, from 11:30 to 15:00 (kitchen until 13:30).
Optional: Aperitif (choice of three different aperitifs). Menu at CHF 84.- per person: Generous salad bowl or soup, Fondue Chinoise à discretion with beef sirloin, veal kidney, chicken, vegetables and gyoza, served with 6 homemade sauces, mixed pickles, chips/rice (there is also a vegan Fondue Chinoise). Additionally available with Fondue Chinoise: lamb sirloin, pork kidney, duck breast, prawns. Optional: Dessert, à la carte
There are 6 gastro-spheres. A maximum of 8 people can fit in each sphere. The spheres are designed as group restaurants, with a minimum of 4 people.
Depending on the service time (lunch, dinner) and day of the week, a minimum consumption of CHF 300.- per sphere or CHF 500.- per sphere applies. The minimum consumption is the amount you must achieve as minimum turnover per sphere with food and drinks. If the minimum consumption is not reached, the difference will be charged as a rental fee.
Yes, the spheres are open at Christmas and New Year's Eve. Special minimum consumption applies: 24/25/26 December CHF 500.-/sphere and on New Year's Eve CHF 800.-/sphere (New Year's Eve menu)
