About us
Lectures and culture in historic halls
The Salle des Abeilles is located on the ground floor. Its frieze, designed by Geneva artists, gives the hall its own character. Lectures and musical events take place here. Our restored salons complement the ensemble. The Grand Salon is connected to an important chapter of history: the International Committee of the Red Cross was founded here in 1863.
The Palais was also built in 1863 for the Société des Arts. Jean-Gabriel Eynard and Anna Eynard-Lullin made the construction possible next to their own Palais Eynard. Today we combine this heritage with a diverse cultural programme. On the first floor, the Salle Crosnier showcases contemporary art by young talents; the Salle Saint-Ours is dedicated to experimental curatorial projects.
Our house is easily accessible to your guests at the foot of the old town. Place Neuve and Parc des Bastions are in the immediate vicinity. Bus and tram stops facilitate arrival by public transport. Please contact us regarding the availability of the halls and the planning of your event.
