About us

Conferences, meetings and receptions in an Olympic setting

For your conferences, meetings and receptions, we offer you various event spaces at Olympic Museum Lausanne in an environment shaped by Olympic sport. Choose the setting that suits your programme: from meetings in the Lausanne Hall to lectures in the auditorium to a festive dinner in the Coubertin Hall.

Our auditorium covers 283 m² and offers seating for 175 to 200 people in theatre-style arrangement. Leather armchairs and 120 individual writing desks with international sockets support concentrated work. A large screen, high-quality audio system and professional stage lighting are included in the equipment. Technology is available for streaming and hybrid events; interpretation services are available on-site and remotely.

For meetings and conferences, the 105 m² Lausanne Hall is also available to you for up to 60 people. The bright Coubertin Hall with 248 m² is suitable for cocktail receptions, meals and galas. In the Olympia Hall, a private terrace and event technology complement the setting for your reception. Our restaurant offers you another venue for joint events with a view. In the evening, the Coubertin, restaurant and Olympia can be used as an area on the second floor for larger events. Outdoors, the forecourt offers you a view over Lake Geneva. We are happy to select the appropriate space with you for your event format.

A fascinating, modern and beautifully designed museum in a truly picturesque setting, with breathtaking views of Lake Geneva and the majestic Alps. Lausanne is known as the Olympic Capital and home to the International Olympic Committee. What makes this museum truly special is its extraordinary collection — the largest of its kind in the world. It offers a wonderful journey through Olympic history, allowing you to step back into different decades, relive legendary sporting moments and discover how sports, equipment and technology have evolved over time. Personally, I would have loved to see even more authentic historical artifacts, especially from the 19th and early 20th centuries. A beautiful place with a unique atmosphere, definitely worth visiting!
