Musical Theater Basel

For your general assembly, your customer or employee event and your company anniversary, we make the stage available at Musical Theater Basel. You can hire our theatre with or without a programme and with or without catering. A large dinner on stage or the exclusive hire of an event are also among the possibilities. We will advise you personally on your event and agree on the appropriate setting with you.

Our theatre combines a large auditorium with a professional stage and a foyer across two floors. In the hall, red seats, carpets and the curtain characterise the atmosphere. The stalls and balcony are oriented towards the stage; the clear sightlines support the shared experience of musicals, concerts and other stage productions. The stage, at approximately 270 square metres, with over 50 stage lines and a 26-metre-high stage tower, provides the technical framework for international large-scale productions.

For receptions and meetings around your programme, our two-storey foyer is available. Across approximately 1,400 square metres, around 1,000 guests can be accommodated; four bars complement the area. This allows you to shape the stage experience and the time before, between or after the programme items in the same building.

Our main entrance is wheelchair accessible, and there is a wheelchair toilet in the lower foyer. Please note in your planning that the upper foyer and balcony are only accessible via stairs. We recommend public transport for your journey; paid car parks are available in the surrounding area.
