Plan your private celebration, corporate event or cultural gathering at Museum der Kulturen Basel. We also offer a special setting for further education seminars and retreats. In the heart of Basel's old town, we combine spaces from different eras with a courtyard that enriches your event even under the open sky.

With us, you can choose between historic and modern spaces: the Baroque room offers an atmospheric setting, the light-filled Hedi Keller Hall opens up space for events, and our functional meeting rooms support concentrated work. In addition, there is the event space and the courtyard. This allows you to match the character of your event with the appropriate surroundings, from private gatherings in small groups to business events.

Our building combines medieval architecture with modern design. Above the courtyard, the distinctive roof by Herzog and de Meuron sets a special accent. If you would like to give your guests access to our exhibitions, you can combine a private guided tour with your event. Afterwards, the shared experience can be rounded off with an aperitif or menu.

For culinary accompaniment, the experienced team of our Museum Bistro Rollerhof is at your service. We are happy to advise you individually on the spaces and possibilities for your event.
