About us

Dinner, Apéro and meetings in the historic museum

For your dinner, conference, seminar or general assembly, we open the rooms of the Musée international de la Réforme in the heart of Geneva's old town. On the ground floor of the Maison Mallet, we welcome you in a historic setting whose architecture between courtyard and garden shapes the atmosphere of your event. Here you combine meeting with your guests with a place steeped in Geneva's history.

Various formats are available for private use outside our regular museum opening hours. We welcome up to 80 guests for an apéro or up to 50 people for a seated dinner. On Mondays, rental is available from 9.00 to 23.30, and from Tuesday to Sunday from 18.00 to 23.30. This allows you to plan your event deliberately after the museum's daily operations.

Museum admission is included in our rental offer and gives your gathering a cultural setting. Our permanent exhibition is dedicated to the history of the Reformation and Protestantism. Paintings, books, objects and audiovisual presentations offer different approaches to this subject. The exhibits include Luther portraits by Cranach and a personal letter from Calvin. The combination of historic house, exhibition and shared event characterises the nature of our offering. Speak with us about the right format for your event.

Opened in 2005, the museum explores the history of the Reformation and the subsequent development of Protestantism, including figures such as Martin Luther and Jean Calvin. It is housed in the 18th-century Maison Mallet, built on the site of the former cloister where Geneva adopted the Reformation in 1536. Paintings, books, manuscripts and engravings illustrate the changes of the period and their wider impact. ※ Included in the Geneva City Pass.
