About us
Celebrate with a staffed bar and gin experiences in the Matte district
Bar staff and final cleaning are included in the rental. For your music programme, we provide a sound system, stage and piano. Bring your playlist, your own DJ or a band. Pool and table football round off the evening. You can arrange food to suit your event: we organise canapés on request; additional catering can be provided by external catering partners or by yourselves.
Regular room rental on Friday and Saturday runs from 8 pm to 3 am; other dates and times can be arranged with us on request. A minimum drinks consumption applies to the room rental. On-site payment is accepted by debit card, credit card or Twint.
For private groups, we also offer standalone experience programmes. At the one-hour gin tasting, you sample five gins and learn more about recipes and botanicals. The two-hour extended tasting also covers absinthe, Summa Summarum and tonic water. At the gin experience, you combine tasting and cocktail mixing. In the distillery workshop, you develop your own gin recipe with our course instructor and accompany the distillation; you take a small bottle of your creation home as a memento. Group size and duration depend on the chosen programme.

Die Matte Brennerei ist der perfekte Ort für eine gelungene Feier und glückliche Gäste. Es ist für jeden was dabei. Eine schöne Bar, Bühne mit Klavier für Livemusik, flexible Möblierung, super Lichtanlage sowie im 1. OG Kicker- und Billardtisch und Platz für Fotobox. Bei der Planung wird man mit tollen Vorschlägen beraten und unterstützt. Bei der Feier selbst zaubert das grossartige Team professionell köstliche Gin Tonic, Long Drinks mit der Liebe zum Detail und geschmacklicher Perfektion. Das alles mit mega guter Laune und Freude. In der Matte Brennerei ist man in den besten Händen für ein Fest. Ich kann die Location absolut weiterempfehlen und würde immer wieder kommen.
Wir waren für ein Gin Tasting in der Matte Brennerei und sind begeistert! Super gemütliche Atmosphäre, sympathisch erklärt und viele feine Gins zum Probieren. Absolut empfehlenswert!
Die Mattenbrennerei hat unglaublich viel Charme und eine ganz besondere Atmosphäre. Ich habe dort meinen Geburtstag gefeiert und die Location hat sich dafür perfekt geeignet. Auch für andere Feste und Events bietet sie einen wunderschönen und besonderen Rahmen. Das gesamte Team war sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und konnten einen unvergesslichen Abend geniessen. Ein grosses Dankeschön an das ganze Team für die tolle Betreuung! Ich kann die Mattenbrennerei von Herzen weiterempfehlen und würde jederzeit wieder einen Anlass dort feiern.
