Le Vestibule

For your afterwork, birthday or company outing, discover the world of cocktails with us. In our workshops for groups of six or more, a professional mixologist will guide you from your first introduction through to your self-mixed drink. You can also request this shared experience for a stag or hen party. Our workshop includes a theoretical introduction, a demonstration and tasting of two classics. Afterwards, you become active yourself and prepare a cocktail of your choice. You can then enjoy a second cocktail comfortably with us.

Our regular workshops take place Tuesday to Saturday in the afternoon. Other times and Monday dates are available for groups of ten or more upon request and subject to availability. For group visits and afterwork events with more than eight people, we will coordinate your request with you in advance. We cannot guarantee a table in the salon on the first floor, even upon explicit request.

Le Vestibule combines the character of a bookshop passed down through generations with a hidden cocktail bar. You will find us in the La Cité district of Lausanne. Since February 2020, cocktails, absinthe, beer and other beverages have complemented the venue; a large proportion is brewed, pressed or distilled in the region. This gives your shared evening a setting between the world of books and speakeasy culture. We also organise themed evenings and shows. Please enquire about the current programme and appropriate reservations when making your request.
