In our historic half-timbered house in Madiswil, we combine the history of a traditional country inn with cuisine that has been awarded 14 Gault&Millau points. Whether you are planning a family celebration, a banquet, a wedding, a corporate event or a conference: you will find different rooms for your personal needs with us.

In the Bärensaal on the first floor, you celebrate under chandeliers. Round tables seat up to 80 guests; with the inclusion of the stage, a further 20 places are possible. You can also choose our flexibly usable Bärensaal for your conference. Our Bärenstube welcomes groups of 20 to 40 people. For confidential board meetings or an exclusive Chef's Table, the separate Linksmähder-Stübli is available for 8 to 10 people. In the romantic Gaststübli at the rear of the restaurant, up to 14 guests can be seated.

A special atmosphere awaits you in the Härdöpfu-Chäuer: in the former natural stone storage cellar, up to 35 people celebrate by candlelight. Our wine cellar with foundations dating from 1646 offers space for a standing aperitif with up to 80 guests. You can also experience a private wine tasting with food pairing here. In the Bärengarten, you can enjoy our cuisine in the open air. The Burestübli on the first floor is being newly created following a comprehensive renovation and is designed for up to 30 people.

If you would like to stay with us after your event, nine hotel rooms await you: five standard double rooms and four rooms with Grand Lit. Our house is located directly opposite the railway station and is easily accessible via a direct train connection from Langenthal.
