La Maison du Prieur

For your wedding, corporate evening, seminar or birthday, we open the historic rooms of Maison du Prieur to you. Together with Events & Saveurs and the Fondation de Romainmôtier, we support the organisation of your event in one or more of our halls. You will also find a special setting for team building in our medieval village.

For a banquet, the Salle Jean de Seyssel offers 100 seats; for an aperitif or cocktail, 150 standing places are available. An extension with the Chambre du Prieur is possible. The Salle des Chevaliers is suitable for a banquet with 50 seats or a reception with 80 standing places. For a civil or secular ceremony, 70 seats and approximately 20 standing places are available. The Salle Bernoise welcomes your aperitif with 80 standing places or your seminar with 50 seats. For a more intimate dinner or seminar, use the Chambre du Prieur with 50 seats.

Additionally, our cellar invites you to tastings and shared meals, and the library during the summer season hosts congresses and meetings. In summer, you can host your reception in the tree-lined garden with more than 200 guests. For bridal couples or private guests, there is a room with an en-suite bathroom and king-size bed.

Our house is a Swiss architectural monument of national significance and belongs to the Fondation de Romainmôtier. The café-restaurant with its terrace in the monastery courtyard complements your stay with cuisine made from predominantly fresh and regional products.
