We bring culture to Langenthal: In the former Capitol cinema, we have created a place for encounters between audiences and cultural practitioners. Our cultural association was founded in 2012 by a group of concert and festival enthusiasts from the region. After renovation, we opened our cultural space in September 2017. Numerous volunteer helpers support our operations. We operate on a non-profit basis and reinvest any surplus in line with our association's purpose.

With us, you experience stage events in a venue with cinema history. The event area includes the main hall and the balcony. We accept non-binding booking enquiries from artists, agencies and event organisers. We provide technical information about our venue in a separate Technical Rider.

We recommend using public transport for your visit. You can reach us on foot from the main railway station in approximately eleven minutes; the Tell/Kantonalbank stop is about a one-minute walk away. We do not have our own car parks, but public parking facilities are available in the surrounding area. We cannot offer supervised cloakroom facilities due to space constraints; the building has coat hooks. For a light refreshment, we offer snacks such as crisps. If you would like to eat before or after an event, you will find restaurants and takeaways in the immediate vicinity.
