About us
Food truck, buffet and aperitif with East Mediterranean cuisine
We are Hungry Pita and bring East Mediterranean cuisine to your event. For corporate celebrations, business lunches, birthdays, weddings and festivals, we offer catering from our food truck as well as buffets and aperitifs.
In the food truck we prepare pitas and bowls fresh to order. Our range includes Pita Sabich with aubergines and egg, chicken and meat variations, and Vegan Shawarma made from homemade seitan. We also offer all pita dishes as bowls. Plus our own sauces and dips.
For your buffet, we combine fresh salads, Levantine dips, warm main courses and finger food. We deliver the food with the necessary equipment to your location and collect the materials after the event at an agreed time.
We source our main ingredients primarily from local suppliers. The pita bread comes from a small bakery in Andelfingen and is steamed by us. Together with you, we tailor the food selection to your wishes and budget.

Wir haben "the Hungry Pita" für einen Anlass gebucht und wurden vom ersten Moment bis zu den vollen Bäuchen bestens beraten und bewirtet. Es war alles sehr unkompliziert, professionell und auf unsere Wünsche wurde sehr flexibel eingegangen. Das Essen war fantastisch, frisch, und unglaublich lecker. Ein super netter, authentischer Food Truck mit frischen Zutaten und sympathischer Bedienung! Die Pitas mit orientalischem Touch sind einfach genial, besonders die Meat Mood Kreation kann ich wärmstens empfehlen. Auch meine Kollegin, die vegan isst, war total begeistert von der Seitan-Option. Besonders schön finde ich, dass der Truck immer wieder auf Street Food Festivals zu finden ist
