Celebrations, seminars and aperitifs with restaurant and hotel
For seminars, meetings and conferences, we welcome groups of up to 30 people. Our seminar infrastructure ranges from notepads to projectors. During breaks, you can unwind on our terrace; if desired, we will prepare aperitifs, refreshments or main courses for you.
Our restaurant offers you both uncomplicated bistro dishes and à la carte meals. These include traditional, hearty dishes as well as light menus. You can also enjoy our cuisine on the restaurant terrace. For an aperitif in a historic setting, we open our wine cellar from the 14th century for you. Its selection includes more than 350 wines, sparkling wines and champagnes. If you would like to combine your stay with an overnight stay, our hotel is at your disposal; it is open year-round.

nähe bahnhof in schönem altem haus. zur märitzeit draussen und drinnen sehr gut besetzt. genügend personal. alle freundlich und effizient. essen lecker und gute portionengrössen. erbsen und gnagi, knöchel heisst es hier als märitmenue.
Authentischer geht nicht - genau so stellten wir uns ein Dreisternehotel mit Namen 'Hirschen' im Emmental vor. Wir wurden durchwegs sehr herzlich und aufmerksam bedient. Das Essen im hoteleigenen Restaurant war hervorragend und ansprechend präsentiert. Das 'Zmorge' entsprach vollumfänglich unseren Erwartungen. Unser Zimmer verfügte über ein modernes Bad/WC. Einzige Einschränkung war - in diesen unüblich heissen Zeiten auch im September - die hohe Temperatur im sonnenseitig gelegenen Zimmer. Aber die positiven Eindrücke überwiegen bei weitem.
Sehr schöne Gartenwirtschaft Essen ist sehr zu empfehlen. Der Chef kocht selbst. Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Immer zu empfehlen.
