Hotel Emmental

Welcome to Hotel Emmental with our TexMex Saloon «Chäs» in Thun. For your birthday, family celebration, corporate event, communion, class reunion or wedding reception, we offer you the perfect gastronomic setting. In our restaurant, you and your guests can gather together and enjoy an event with personalised menu planning.

For your aperitif, we put together drinks and snacks. For the shared meal, creative menu suggestions are available; we are also happy to design a menu according to your wishes. Our Fajita feast is available from four people onwards. In the evening, fajitas, Mexican tacos, burgers, spare ribs, chilli con carne, salads and nachos characterise our TexMex offering. Gluten-free and lactose-free options complement the selection.

When the weather is fine, our Chäs terrace invites you to linger. From October to Easter, we serve our fondue creations there. On Sundays and selected public holidays, we offer brunch. Free WiFi is available to you in the restaurant, on the terrace and in the hotel rooms.

If you would like to combine your event with an overnight stay, we have 14 rooms for you. They feature their own bathroom with shower and are accessible via the stairwell. Our house is located at Berntorkreisel near Thun's old town. The Berntor bus stop is just a few metres away; from the railway station, you can reach us by bus line 1.
