Restaurant war top, guter Service, schöne Sicht. War nur im Restaurant. Traumgegend für Spaziergänge vor allem bei guter Sicht.
Nice and cozy hotel settled in a very bucolic setting close to Zurich. Reasonably priced. Stunning view of the lake, total quiet, nice restaurant and friendly staff. What more? Ah yes, shuttle service to station and close by areas! Note: rooms are mostly tiny and minimalist.
Waren zum Abendessen im Restaurant und leider hat es uns gar nicht geschmeckt. Das Tartare zur Vorspeise und der Nüsslisalat waren super, jedoch die Haupspeisen ungeniessbar. Das Cordonbleu hat so stark nach Knoblauch geschmeckt sodass es jeglichen anderen Geschmack überdeckt hat. Die Panade hat bitter geschmeckt und es war für meinen Geschmack zu viel Käse (was doch meine persönliche Präferenz ist). Die Beilage war jedoch lecker. Mein Partner hatte Fisch an Safransauce mit Reis. Es schmeckte alles etwas fade und der Reis war teilweise noch hart und teilweise sehr, sehr weich. Service war gut. Der junge Mann, der uns bedient hat, war sehr freundlich und wollte uns zur Kompensation einem Kaffee anbieten, welche wir dankend abgelehnt haben. Zum Essen werden wir nicht mehr ins Restaurant kommen. Jedoch könnten wir uns mal einen Kaffee bei der schönen Aussicht gönnen.
Wir waren für eine Nacht zu zweit hier. Die Zimmer in unserem Hoteltrakt sind zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber absolut sauber und alles hat einwandfrei funktioniert. Beim Essen und Trinken auf der Terrasse sowie im Restaurant hat man gemerkt, dass einige Servicekräfte wohl noch neu waren.? Dadurch kam es zu den ein oder anderen nicht ganz optimalen Situationen. Das gute Essen hat das aber wieder wettgemacht: Sowohl das À-la-carte-Abendessen als auch das Frühstücksbuffet waren lecker. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt kann ich es hier empfehlen.
