Welcome to the Gerber family at Steffisberg in Oberthal in the Emmental. Our farm is situated at 930 m above sea level with a view of the Bernese Alps and has over 10 hectares of agricultural land, of which approx. 2 hectares are biodiversity-enhancing areas, approx. 7 hectares are forest, and 0.5 hectares are strawberry and blueberry fields.
Are you looking for a space for your event? Birthday party? Anniversary? Business occasion? Family celebration? You are exactly right with us. Our room offers space for about 20 people and can be rented year-round. The room is equipped with tables and chairs and can be customized to your ideas. Furthermore, the room has a kitchen with a dishwasher and dishes and cutlery.
Our open barn is suitable for celebrations of all kinds for about 150 people from spring to early autumn. The barn can be equipped with tables and benches upon request. Parking spaces are available on the farm.

Wir durften im Sommer unsere Hochzeit auf dem Hof Gerber feiern. Die Kommunikation und das ganze Drumherum war sehr unkompliziert! Wir durften am Freitag zu beliebiger Zeit bereits anreisen und einrichten und am Sonntag so lange wie nötig bleiben. Für die Trauung wurden Strohballen auf dem Feld gestellt und mit weissem Flies überdeckt. Bei Bedarf kann Dekoration sowie Helfer durch die Familie Gerber mit gebucht werden. Die Aussicht mit dem Bergpanorama ist überwältigend!! Wir übernachteten direkt auf dem Hof im zugehörigen Airbnb, auch das war sehr angenehm und unkompliziert! Vielen lieben Dank!!
Wir haben unsere Hochzeit in der Scheune auf dem Hof Gerber gefeiert und waren ausserordentlich zufrieden! Der Hof ist wunderschön, tolle Aussicht aufs Emmental, romantisch dekoriert und sehr angenehme Atmosphäre. Ein grosses Dankeschön an die Familie Gerber, welche uns herzlich empfangen hat und eine sehr angenehme und unkomplizierte Gastgeberin ist 😊 Sehr zu empfehlen!
Super Urlaub als Familie. Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und die Wohnung im Stübli ist sehr gemütlich und traditionell eingerichtet. Leckere Produkte vom eigenem Hofladen!
Sehr schöner, entspannter und ruhiger Ort um für einen Kurzurlaub oder länger seine Zeit zu verbringen. Das Zimmer war sauber und es fehlte an nichts (kleine Küchenzeile, Fernseher, Bett). Das Bad verfügt über eine Badewanne mit Duschmöglichkeit sowie Toilette. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in näherer Umgebung. Sehr nette und freundliche Gastgeber, daher gerne wieder und sehr zu empfehlen.
