For your wedding, birthday or corporate seminar, we welcome you to the Grand Hotel Kurhaus in the mountain world of Arolla. Our historic house is located at 2,070 metres in the Val d'Hérens. We design your event individually: from an aperitif with views of Mont-Collon through to shared dining and dancing in the evening.
In L'Honorine we host group dinners, banquets and weddings with up to 130 covers. The wood-panelled dining room combines historic details with large windows overlooking the peaks. For dining on a smaller scale or a tasting of Valais wines, Le Carnotzet offers you a stone vault and wooden tables. In the Salon Historique you can reserve an aperitif, a family meal or a quiet meeting. Le Baker's Pub is available for dancing evenings, billiards and the conclusion of your meal.
For a ceremony under the open sky or an aperitif, use Le Jardin des Arolles with its panoramic terrace amongst ancient larch trees. La Chotte offers another setting for dining at altitude or a team event. For seminars, video projectors, flipcharts and conference materials are available; coffee breaks are included in our seminar package.
Our kitchen prepares seasonal dishes with Valais products on site. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are available. Combine your event with an overnight stay with us. The hotel welcomes you during the winter and summer seasons; we will personally coordinate your date and desired arrangements with you.

Accueil chaleureux lors de notre randonnée pour récolter des fonds pour la SEP. L’hôtel est magnifique tant à l’intérieur qu’à l’extérieur. Emplacement au top pour randonner ! Petit déjeuner excellent, il y avait même du lait végétal:-). Dommage qu’était pas spécifié qu’en fin de saison il n’y avait plus de plats végé ds mais un geste commercial a été appliqué lors de notre départ :-)

Un endroit hors du temps, magique et exceptionnel! L’hôtel est chaleureux et accueillant, le mobilier est superbe, petit bémol pour le resto nous avions vu la carte avec de nombreux plats vege mais comme nous sommes fin de saison il n’y avait plus rien, dommage de ne pas le mentionner lors de la réservation. Mention particulière pour Alexis à la réception qui est d’une gentillesse extraordinaire!! Nous recommandons l’endroit qui est simplement sublime! Steph, Cecile et Marlene les randonneuses pour la sclérose en plaque

There are some wow small rooms, but mostly they are a nice size. Staff is super friendly and helpful, restaurant is really nice. Gardens are beautiful, and plenty of trails for all levels of hiking or walking.

We went to a wedding here over the weekend and what really stood out was the view, the excellent service and great quality of food. The rooms are simple, but there is everything you need and the only con was probably noise isolation. We could hear some noise from the rooms next door, but thankfully everyone was mostly quiet. What was impressive was that we couldn't hear the party that was on the ground floor after we went to bed. Overall a really wonderful stay and a big thank you to everyone at the Grand Hotel.
