For which events and in which area do you offer catering?

We support corporate events, weddings, birthdays, gala dinners, general meetings, aperitifs, conferences and other private or business celebrations. Our focus is on Basel and north-western Switzerland; for larger events we also operate throughout Switzerland.

Is there a minimum number of guests?

Accepted Answer

No. We cater for both exclusive events on a small scale and large events with several hundred guests. We are happy to provide you with an individual quote. We expect a minimum turnover of CHF 1,000.00 for catering.

What does catering cost?

Accepted Answer

Costs depend on the number of guests, menu, duration, venue, staff, transport and materials required. We will provide you with a detailed, non-binding quote in which all services are transparently listed. See also our price example below.

Question 4

What are the staff and additional costs?

Accepted Answer

The required kitchen and service staff is calculated individually. Head chef and head of service cost CHF 55.00 per hour, cooks and service staff CHF 45.00 per hour. In addition, there are delivery and transport costs as well as costs for set-up and breakdown and rental materials depending on the event.

Can you organise crockery, furniture and other equipment?

Accepted Answer

Yes. On request, we organise crockery, glasses, cutlery, table linen, high tables, banquet furniture, kitchen equipment, decoration, technology and other partner services.

Can menus be customised?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We compile your menu to suit your event, season, budget and personal wishes. We are happy to accommodate vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and lactose-free dishes as well as other allergies and intolerances, provided we are informed in good time.

Do you also offer beverages, aperitifs, flying dinners or barbecue catering?

Accepted Answer

Yes. In addition to classic menus, we offer business aperitifs, flying dinners, standing lunches, cocktail receptions and barbecue concepts. Beverages can be sourced entirely through us or provided by yourselves; if you provide your own beverages, a corresponding pouring or corkage fee applies.

Can you cater at venues without a kitchen?

Accepted Answer

Yes. With our mobile infrastructure, we can provide a professional catering service at venues without an existing kitchen.

Can private and corporate customers pay on invoice?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Payment terms are set out in the quote or order confirmation.
