Forellensee

Celebrate your wedding, corporate event or private celebration with us at Forellensee in Zweisimmen. Our lake and the surrounding alpine landscape provide the setting for memorable hours by the water. For your event, you can choose from various indoor spaces and outdoor areas as well as exclusive hire options. Association and club events are also part of our offering.

Our yurt event pavilion is constructed from wood and fabric and insulated with natural felt. The yurt includes a terrace deck over the lake. In summer, from Easter to the end of October, it is designed for up to 85 guests; in winter for up to 50. For smaller groups, our Strohgade winter garden offers space for up to 24 people. Wood, straw bales and glass characterise this room in alpine cottage style. A projector and flipchart with moderator set are included in the equipment.

In the lake restaurant, we welcome up to 42 guests in a cosy Bernese Oberland alpine cottage atmosphere with gallery. The separately rentable lake restaurant terrace offers space for up to 60 guests and can be covered with sun sails. From here you can enjoy views of the lake and the Alps. Our island can be used exclusively for a private event and is also offered as a wedding island.

If you would like to reserve the entire site for you and your guests, exclusive hire for up to 250 people is possible. This includes the yurt, Strohgade and lake restaurant as part of the joint rental package. We offer a separate booking area for overnight stays. The choice of area, number of guests and your desired date form the basis for your individual planning.
