How large can our group be?

Up to eight people can participate at the pottery wheel, and up to ten at the pottery table. For larger groups at the pottery table, we'll split you across two rooms and require a second instructor. Please enquire about the right solution for your group individually.

What does our team event cost?

Mugs or plates cost CHF 150 per person with a minimum of CHF 890 per event. Freeform costs CHF 195 per person with a minimum of CHF 950; wheel throwing CHF 230 per person with a minimum of CHF 1100. The higher amount of either the per-person price or minimum charge applies.

What services are included?

The pottery formats include my instruction, a small aperitif, clay, finishing, glazing, and bisque and glaze firing. You'll create one piece with mugs or freeform, one to two pieces with plates, and two to three pieces at the wheel. Each additional piece costs CHF 20.

Do we need prior experience?

No. I guide both beginners and advanced participants. Those with wheel throwing experience can work at their own pace by arrangement.

Can we outsource the final cleaning?

Yes. Normally we tidy and clean together at the end. If you wish, I can handle the final cleaning for CHF 20 per person for hand-building or CHF 25 per person at the wheel.

Can we take our pieces home immediately?

Your freshly thrown pieces remain in the studio for finishing and firing. At the end, you'll choose the glaze or sign up for a glazing slot. We'll arrange the handover of the finished ceramics separately.

From what age are the courses suitable?

My courses are generally suitable from age 16 onwards, unless the specific offering states otherwise. Please discuss any different wishes with me before booking.

Can we arrange additional catering or ceramic painting?

A small aperitif is included in the pottery formats. You can add more extensive catering. Alternatively, you can glaze hand-thrown blanks from me; we'll arrange the selection, process and costs of this alternative format separately.

Get creative together: In the cosy pottery studio she ceramics, you'll craft unique ceramic pieces with your own hands. Whether you're a beginner or experienced - under our guidance, you'll learn the fundamentals of pottery at the pottery wheel or hand-building table and create something truly special.

Prefer to paint ceramics? Give the she ceramics creations the finishing touch

I offer hand-thrown blanks that you can glaze. The blanks vary in size, shape and price. Feel free to share your ideas with me so I can prepare a selection for you.

Good to know

Meeting point, weather and preparation

Available locations: Own venue
Meeting point: We'll meet at the studio in Zurich Wollishofen at the agreed time. Please use the entrance on Hauptstrasse.
What to bring: Please let me know in your inquiry what format you'd like, your group size, and your catering preferences. Courses are generally aimed at people aged 16 and over, unless otherwise agreed in the offer.
After the event / collection: After the event, I'll take care of the finishing and firing. You choose your glaze or arrange a glaze slot. We'll coordinate the timing and organization of handing over your finished works separately.

Ein fantastischer Kurs bei She Ceramics mit Stefanie! Ich habe den Schnupperkurs Drehscheibe geschenkt bekommen und war vom Kurs, der grossartigen Unterrichtsweise und der Persönlichkeit von Stefanie so begeistert, dass ich umgehend den Aufbaukurs Abdrehen gebucht habe.
