Espace 44

For your birthday, a shared meal, a conference, a film screening or a concert, we welcome you to Espace 44. In our sociocultural centre in the Lausanne neighbourhood of Bergières, private celebrations and cultural events find a place where meeting and connection are at the heart of everything. You can request the area with bar and kitchen or, for a larger event, the entire centre.

Our event hall is suitable for dance evenings, performances, projections and conferences. It accommodates up to 250 people standing; for a seated event, the capacity is approximately 80 to 120 people depending on the layout. For smaller gatherings, the area with bar, kitchen and toilets is available for a maximum of 50 people. This allows you to tailor your space request to the character and size of your event.

As a neighbourhood centre, we promote gatherings of people from Bergières and support local associations and collectives. Our programme combines recreational, cultural and sporting activities. This open neighbourhood culture also shapes the framework of our space rental.

Arrange a viewing before your booking: we will show you the spaces by appointment on Fridays between 15:00 and 17:30. Members of our association benefit from preferential rates. We will clarify the appropriate rental option and availability with you for your desired event.
