El Mosquito is known for its true Mexican cuisine. Our Daiquiris and Margaritas are famous far beyond Sursee! We exclusively use typically Mexican products and fresh ingredients. The Tequila is made from the juice of the hearts of blue agaves - just as it is traditionally in Mexico.
On our menu, you will find Fajitas, Nachos, Burritos, and many varieties of Mexican beers. Our El Mosquito house wine is full-bodied, round, and a true Everybody's Darling.

El Mosquito in Sursee's charming old town wins over guests time and again with its vibrant Mexican atmosphere and genuinely good food. Reviewers consistently rave about the friendly, attentive staff who make everyone feel welcome from the moment they walk in. Sehr gut, wenn auch nicht gerade günstig, gegessen, sympathische Bedienung und schönes Ambiente in der Altstadt.
Ich hatte das Vergnügen, im El Mosquito in Sursee zu essen, und war rundum begeistert. Bereits die Vorspeise, ein Teller Nachos, war hervorragend: knusprig, mit reichlich Käse und perfekt abgestimmten Toppings. Als Hauptgang folgte ein Chili con Carne mit Reis, das geschmacklich auf höchstem Niveau war: würzig, aromatisch und dennoch ausgewogen. Den krönenden Abschluss bildete ein lauwarmes Schokoladenküchlein mit Vanilleeis, eine wahre Geschmacksexplosion und ein Dessert, das man nicht so schnell vergisst. Begleitet wurde das Ganze von einem erfrischenden Corona und einem hausgemachten Eistee, der geschmacklich ebenfalls absolut überzeugte. Das Ambiente im Restaurant ist authentisch, gemütlich und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist vollkommen angemessen. Die Bedienung war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Obwohl meine Anreise aus dem Wallis lange dauert, würde ich wiederkommen. Eine klare Empfehlung!
