EcoBuddy - Solar Power for Digital Inclusion

For many people around the world, electricity and light are not a given. Especially in remote regions, the lack of access to energy makes daily life, school education and social participation difficult. With EcoBuddy, you engage with this issue whilst making a concrete contribution.

To start, our moderator team will tell you about the background of the project and the challenges of energy poverty for people in regions without reliable electricity supply.

Then you become active yourselves: In small teams, you build so-called EcoBuddies. These are modular solar systems that will later be deployed where they are urgently needed. Step by step, the teams assemble the individual components and check their functionality. Good coordination, mutual support and careful work are essential to ensure that a functioning system is created at the end.
