Château d'Yverdon-les-Bains

In our castle in the heart of Yverdon-les-Bains, we welcome you for seminars, meetings, conferences, association gatherings and cultural events. The building dates from the 13th century and has belonged to the city since 1804. Visible wooden beams, dressed stone and historic architectural elements characterise our rooms. In addition to room rental, the castle houses several cultural institutions.

Our Aula Magna offers 204 m² of space for up to 200 people. It is suitable for seminars, meetings, projections and concerts. For your event, we provide, amongst other things, 200 chairs, a podium of 4 × 6 metres, a fixed projection screen, a lectern, a flipchart and an integrated sound system with microphones. A permanently installed projector, an overhead projector and a concert grand piano are available for additional hire.

Directly in front of the Aula is our 132 m² foyer. Here you can set up a cloakroom or host an aperitif for up to 140 standing guests after your event. The Léon-Michaud halls consist of two interconnected areas of 84 and 49 m². Together they offer 133 m² and space for up to 60 people for seminars, conferences and meetings. A screen is available; further presentation materials are available in part depending on availability.

The Aula, foyer and Léon-Michaud halls are located on the first floor and are accessible by lift. Please note when planning: Meals, aperitifs, weddings and commercial events are not provided for in the Aula Magna and the Léon-Michaud halls. The aperitif after an event takes place in the foyer, which is suitable for this purpose. For the castle cellars, arrangements are made separately with L'Échandole.
