Tucked inside a mountain, Cantina Caverna is a genuinely one-of-a-kind spot that keeps winning people over. Guests consistently rave about the extraordinary setting — carved into real rock, warmed up with wood and clever lighting — and the friendly, attentive team that makes everyone feel welcome. The food hits the mark too: fresh, seasonal, and made with regional ingredients. Haben hier nach unserem Poltern im Indoor super fein gegessen und sind vom herzlichen Team bestens verpflegt und beraten worden. Daumen hoch! Komme gerne wieder und kann euch nur empfehlen!
Alles super gut gewesen: der Hamburger und die sehr freundliche Bedienung. Mein E-Auto konnte ich gratis betanken. Eine tolle Geste. Komme ganz bestimmt wieder.
Wir haben nach unserem Training im Brünig Indoor die Cantina Caverna besucht. Die Location ist einmalig. Zum einen liegt das Restaurant im Felsen zum anderen wurde in der Location mit viel Holz und Licht eine einzigartige Atmosphäre geschaffen. An diesem Abend war gerade Stollenparty (CHF 10.- Eintritt) angesagt weshalb es eine eigene Speise und Getränkekarte gegeben hat. Wir konnten zwischen Steak, Burger und Pommes auswählen 😉 Die Getränke und das Essen wurden sehr speditiv serviert. Das Personal war wie immer sehr freundlich und aufgestellt. Musikalisch wurde der Abend von einer Ländler-Band begleitet. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt, sind jedoch froh wenn beim nächsten mal wieder die ordentliche Speisekarte angeboten wird.
Kleine, aber feine Karte, nette Bedienung. Was aber die 5 Sterne bekommt, ist die Location und das Ambiente des Berg-Schachtes (ehemalige Kantine von Gasser) in einem Schachtsystem. Tolle vielfältige Nutzung für Events möglich. Das Ganze beherbergt unglaublicher Weise auch eine Schiessanlage mit 300m Schiessbahn - wurde auch schon für Olympische Spiele genutzt. Es hat auch einen Trainingsstollen für die Feuerwehr und mehr solch ungewöhnliche Dinge. Das Ganze liegt sehr versteckt und kaum ausgeschildert am Brünig im Ortsteil Obersee von Lungern.
